The Question

This family-owned wireless and home internet service provider (ISP) operates in rural communities across Eastern Oklahoma. Because of its size, the company struggles to compete with larger ISPs. Could we help increase awareness inside the brand’s service area and maximize the return on paid media efforts?

The Answer

When they first came to us, the company wasn’t called Bravado, and they were only seeking creative and media execution. A year into our relationship, they trusted us enough to do a full brand immersion, resulting in a new brand strategy, new name, and new swagger. From that came a bold new visual identity, manifesting in a new website, social media presence, and cross-channel advertising campaigns.

Equally important, we conducted an audience intelligence study with Bravado’s existing customer data and store locations as points of interest. Using our proprietary business intelligence tool, we created a detailed customer activity map that pinpointed those within Eastern Oklahoma likely to use these wireless services. The findings uncovered previously unidentified lookalike audiences, leading to more precise media targeting and efficiencies in spend.

The Outcome

We have been the company’s agency of record since 2015. In addition to a new brand, Bravado Wireless has a better understanding of their target audience and continues to use the intelligence to shape promotions, campaigns, and client retention efforts. They also have notably reduced their cost per click (CPC) and cost per acquisition (CPA) in paid search and improved website metrics such as page views, users, and sessions by double digits.
