The Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation approached us with a request. Could we develop a concept for a food hall that would be a business incubator and community hub that celebrates Tulsa’s historic connection to Route 66?
We developed a memorable, timeless visual language that easily expands throughout all aspects of Mother Road Market’s operations, from placemaking to branded collateral to merchandise.
Reflecting the industrial nature of the historic 1939 Scrivner-Stevens Co. Grocery building located just off historic Route 66, our creative work also modernized the look and feel of the “mother road” on its way to rapid revitalization.
The minimalist feel of the design allows the eclectic range of retailers, chefs, manufacturers, craftsmen, and patrons to further define the brand personality into the future as it becomes a thriving community cornerstone.
Since its opening, Mother Road Market has become a destination for residents and visitors, helping fuel the revenue engine supporting the many entrepreneurs who have started their journeys to success right here on the mother road. The brand itself has become a shining light, a bright ray of hope to many a traveler along life’s highways and byways.
