Moody Center

The Question

Austin is known for tacos, hipster vibes, and live music — with a lot of cool venues. So when a $375 million, state-of-the-art arena designed for music, sports, and other local events showed up on the scene, it needed to generate maximum excitement and main-stage presence.

Could we help this new concert venue stand out in the city known as the “Live Music Capital of the World”? 

The Answer

We served as an extension of the Moody Center marketing team to help distinguish this new venue from others in the city.

There are several other venues in Austin with the name Moody. To establish Moody Center as the new headliner in town, we first developed a visual identity. Then we executed a logo for the inaugural event and Red River Rising, print ads for Billboard and Pollstar magazines, front entrance mural design for the ribbon cutting ceremony, and social media graphics and digital venue signage templates.

Next, we provided creative for a lead generation campaign to garner sign-ups and deposits to hold premium seating for the new venue prior to its grand opening.

The Outcome

Moody Center had to pause the lead gen campaign after only six days, due to generating 3,500 deposits on only 2,000 club seat concert memberships and selling more than half of their 44 suites. They also sold out their premium seating offers prior to the grand opening in April 2022.
